Joel Walker has spent 25 years in BPO leadership roles, most recently as Global Head of Procurement for Vodafone, Corporate Services.  Vodafone has over 35,000 agents, with multiple suppliers across multiple markets.  He first worked with South Africa BPO providers in 2003 and has moved a number of roles to South Africa over the years.

He has just left Vodafone and is establishing The Knowledge Group (www.WeLoveToKnow.com) where as COO he is helping to build a world class procurement advisory business and digital procurement platform that will transform the way people buy business services.

A writer & speaker on outsourcing best practice he sits on a number of Advisory Boards including Cape BPO given his passion for South African job creation and the Global Sourcing Association where he works for a greater understanding of procurement best practice.  He will be bringing to life the expectations of international buyers and how what attracts them to certain markets and providers.
