Gerhard is a professional management consultant; his specific strength is in the area of business development across a number of industries. He is shareholder of the BEE Analyst & Associates Group, as well as eStudy. His management consultant work focuses on B-BBEE and skills development. Gerhard is directly involved in various international businesses; these include EuropAssist, Societe Generale, and TiAuto. We will profile more of our speakers in the weeks leading up to our AFRICA’S CALLING 2019 Conference.

Adam is a dynamic and engaging speaker. He previously guest lectured for the University of Pretoria’s GIBS Business School, the University of Stellenbosch, as well as Duke University in North Carolina, USA. He holds an MBA from the GIBS Business School.

Cobus Greyling

Technical Product Manager, Design and Innovation: Ocular Technologies

Cobus holds 4 tertiary qualifications, including a Post-Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Pretoria. Over a period of more than 18 years he has visited 19 countries, and has worked in 5 of those countries with 8 GSM networks, and with more than 14 companies. His core areas of focus included being involved with self-service in 14 languages on various platforms relating to IVR (inbound, outbound, ASR and speech synthesis), voice biometrics, conversational interfaces (Amazon Echo, Google Home, Chatbots), cognitive computing, linguistic analysis, and ambient computing.

Cobus is experienced in the areas of training, development, project management, and executive overviews and presentations, and has highly knowledgeable in GIS, understanding spatial analysis, and the like.

Nzwisisa Chidembo

Technical Product Manager: Ocular Technologies

Nzwisisa specialises in leveraging Artificial Intelligence solutions to transform organisations and how they are perceived by their customers. With more than 12 years’ international experience, Nzwisisa has worked in the telecommunications, e-commerce, biotechnology, and retail industries. He has led various skilled teams in optimising business processes and applying effective solutions, while liaising with various stakeholders and overseeing system integration projects.

Nzwisisa is an internationally-published author and was nominated as a Global Young ICT Leader in 2017 by the International Telecommunications Union. He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and more than a dozen certifications, and was a member of ITWeb’s Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board in 2018.
